Open Dutch Master Diving Championship

March 4th, 5th & 6th 2011 • PSV Eindhoven • The Netherlands

Next year for the fourth time, the Open Dutch Master Diving Championship will be held in the Pieter van den Hoogenband Zwemstadion, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. This competition will be held every year on the first saturday & sunday of March, with possibility for free practice on the friday afternoon before that weekend.

For the Dutch competitors, this event will be the official 'KNZB NK Master Schoonspringen' for 1m, 3m and Platform. The youngest age-group for the Dutch competitors will be 19-24 years. For the ‘Open’ Masters event, the youngest age-group will be 18-24 years and we will use age-groups per 5 years conform the FINA Handbook. All results in the following table were you can see the numbers of dives required per age group, age as per 31 December 2011.

Novice: The diver can freely choose the dives from the dive table given in the FINA Handbook. In addition to these dives, also the custom dives novice are allowed. Each dive performed has a different dive number. Maximum tariff: 2.0, maximum rotations: 1.5.

Masters: The diver can freely choose the dives from the dive table given in the FINA Handbook. Each dive performed has a different dive number. In age groups 70+, dives with the same dive number can be repeated, if performed in a different position (straight, pike, tuck or free position).

Platform: Masters can combine 5m, 7½m and 10m freely, Novices are restricted to 5m. For age groups 50+ only feet first entries are allowed from the 10m platform and any performed dive from the 10m must not exceed tariff of 2.0.

Note: From this event on, you can not be in both Novice and Masters competitions, you must make the choice on forehand. Furthermore, the Novice is for beginning divers, you can not be in it forever.

Please be sure to check the website shortly before the event for an accurate time schedule. You can only compete in your event when it is actually scheduled. So when you arrive late or you have to leave early, unfortunattely you might miss an event. We will do our best not to finish too late on Sunday, because of the traveling of all our foreign competitors.

In this competition we will be using Malcolm Taylor's DiveRecorder like last year to record the meet. Divesheets for this competition must be filled in by using his Online Sheets section. During this meet, you can see the Live Results online.
